Oct. 2012 - North Sea Energy and Premier Oil are now 50% partners in UKCS block 12/30 which contains the Badger prospect. North Sea Energy's wholly owned subsidiary, Echo Exploration Limited, was awarded UK License P1920, which includes block 12/30. Premier gained its share of Badger through the acquisition of EnCore Oil who shared interest in the block with North Sea Energy. The transaction is subject to consent from the Department of Energy and Climate Change. Moving forward, the work program at Badger will focus on further delineation of the prospect and mitigation of critical risk elements.
